Climate
Vietnam has tropical monsoon (a period of a few months containing strong winds and heavy rain) type of climate. From May-September, the Monsoon climate sets in from the south, and the country is hit strongly by South-South Easterly winds. From October-April, the north Monsoon effects the Country with North-North Easterly winds. During the short time period between the two monsoonal seasons, the winds are light.
